came back to Hong

Kong until his late teens. At the age of 6, Lee was introduced by his

When he was 19, he moved to the United States to attend his higher education at the University
at Washington in Seattle and from this time he began teaching martial arts. He became a symbol
of the martial arts after dramatic roles on screen, his films changed and influenced martial arts
and martial arts films in the United States, Hong Kong and the rest of the world. Lee became an
iconic figure known throughout the world, in particularly, among the Chinese. In spring of 1965,
Lee got married to Linda and they had two children together. Lee died in Kowloon Tong on July
20, 1973 at the age of 32 due to cerebral edema disease.

Bruce Lee has been one of my most inspirational mentors throughout my early to late
teens, although he is known for being greatest martial artists ever, his story extends far beyond
martial arts and movies. Bruce Lee faced enormous challenges throughout his lifetime but it was
due to his mind-set and focus on his passion that made him become one of the most recognized
names throughout the World today, over 40 years after his death. Although his life was short,
Lee was on the verge of fulfilling all of the goals that he had written down on that piece of paper.
His legacy still lives on and his philosophies provide an example how anyone from any
background can become a cultural icon.

Bruce Lee accomplished many tasks during his lifetime. In 1959, Lee moved to San
Francisco with only $115 in his pocket after a three-week voyage. Lee stayed with an old friend
of his father for several months then he moved out eventually settled in Seattle, Washington. His
passion for martial arts, Lee held Kung Fu classes at his backyard and at the city parks to teach
his fellow students. In the 1960s, Le had two Kung-Fu Institutes in Seattle and Oakland, where
he taught anyone who wanted to learn Kung Fu. But many people in the California Chinese
community had protested him because he shared their secrets with ...
